Legal Costs
Once legal action begins lawyers charge according to the RVG - the German Act on Lawyer Fees, unless another fee structure is agreed upon. It works in tariffs and states how many tariffs a lawyer may charge for a certain legal activity. The value of the claim defines the height of the tariff. Last but not least it should never be forgotten that the losing party has to cover the other party´s legal expenses, such as lawyer and court fees. Your debtor therefor has to cover your legal costs, if your claim is enforceable.
